2 injured in 4-vehicle crash near Windermere High School

 Two people were injured Monday morning in a four-vehicle crash near Windermere High School, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The wreck happened around 6:20 a.m. on Summerport Village Parkway at Ficquette Road, south of the school.

The FHP said the crash involved a 2019 Toyota Corolla; a 2018 Mazda CX-5; a 2023 Toyota RAV-4; and a 2022 Toyota RAV-4.

One crash victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center and another was taken to Orlando Health Horizon West Hospital.

Details about what led to the wreck have not been released.

The intersection was blocked due to the crash and tow trucks called to the scene.
