2 injured in Sanford boat crash, fire crews say

Two people were injured in a boat crash in Sanford on Sunday, according to the Seminole County Fire Department. 

The crash happened around 6:38 p.m. at 5502 Old Geneva Road in Sanford.

Two boats collided, and two people were taken to the hospital.

One of the two was transported as a trauma alert. 

No other details have been released.
