2 men in critical condition after being shot in head by masked man at Brentwood apartment complex: JSO

Two men were transported to a hospital in critical condition after they were shot Monday morning at an apartment complex in the Brentwood neighborhood, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.

According to JSO, around 7 a.m., a man wearing a mask broke into a unit at the Capri Villa apartments on North Main Street and shot the two men in the head. The shooter then took the keys to one of the men’s cars and drove off, JSO said.

Police said one man is in his 40s and the other man in his 60s. Both of them were critically injured.

Police said the suspect was driving a silver Buick Lacrosse.
