ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — A 2-month-old is in critical condition after a car crash in Escambia County, according to a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Officers were called to West Jackson Street at Fitzgerald Street around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a crash.

The release said a blue car was backing out of a driveway off West Jackson Street, west of Fitzgerald Street, when a black car was heading west on West Jackson Street.

The driver of the blue car backed into the path of the black car, which caused the front of the black car to hit the passenger side of the blue car, according to the news release.
