First responders are responding to a crash on Southern Boulevard in western Palm Beach County.
A high-ranking source with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office tells WPBF that three motor deputies were hit by a vehicle while conducting traffic enforcement.
Two are dead and one is in critical condition.
According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, Southern Boulevard is closed to traffic west of Seminole Pratt Whitney. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Southern Boulevard near Lion Country Safari Road is also closed in both directions.
