Two people who were found hanging onto the side of an overturned boat were rescued following a boating accident.

According to Highlands County Fire Rescue, crews were dispatched to Lake Adelaide at around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday regarding a boat accident.

Two people were found in the water, hanging on to the overturned boat. They were taken to shore with no injuries.

Crews were able to tow the boat back to shore.

Officials did not release any further details regarding the accident.
