In the early hours of Friday morning, a dramatic rescue unfolded near the A1A bridge in Jupiter after a boat capsized, leaving two people unaccounted for and sparking a search by emergency crews.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said that crews responded to an open water incident just before 3 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Alternate A1A.

Officials said that a boat had capsized near the A1A bridge.

Upon arrival, crews reported that two people had made it safely to shore, while two others remained unaccounted for.
