2 rushed to hospital after falling into empty pool in Weston

Two people were transported to a hospital Wednesday after they fell into an empty swimming pool in Weston from the roof of a home, first responders confirmed.

According to Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, the incident happened in the 4100 block of Boston Court.

It’s unclear whether the victims live at the home or were there to work on the roof, BSFR officials said.

Sky 10 was above the scene around 1:40 p.m. as a large amount of blood could be seen in the swimming pool.

According to BSFR, both victims were transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, one of whom was airlifted there.

No other details were immediately released.
