2 seriously injured after plane crashes at Pasco County airport.

Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a plane crashed in Pasco County Thursday, authorities said.

According to Pasco County Fire Rescue (PCFR), the plane crashed at the Zephyrhills Municipal Airport at 39450 South Avenue.

PCFR said the conditions of the victims are unknown at this time.

The Zephyrhills Police Department is also on the scene. According to PCFR, the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have been called to investigate the crash.

At this time, South Avenue from Airport Road to Sixth Avenue is closed due to the crash.
