2 teens injured in St. Petersburg shooting, police say

An investigation was launched Thursday night after St. Petersburg police said two teens were injured in a shooting.

Investigators said the two teens were with a group of people when the shooting happened near the 1700 block of 15th Avenue South.

Police said shots rang out during a dispute. A 16-year-old girl was shot in the foot and a 16-year-old boy had injuries to his lower body.

Their injuries are considered to be non-life-threatening. No arrests have been made as of this report.
