Two people were injured after a hit-and-run crash on Texas Avenue in Collier County on Wednesday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, two women were walking on the sidewalk on Texas Avenue at 8:10 a.m.
The release states a sedan veered off the road and crashed into a 47-year-old and a 65-year-old.
Both women were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver fled the scene.
FHP and the Collier County Sheriff’s Office found the car, with no license plate, at a home off Holland Street in Naples Manor.
A possible suspect has been identified with charges pending.
