20-year-old Pensacola man dies in single-vehicle crash in Escambia County

A 20-year-old Pensacola man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Escambia County on Saturday morning.

Troopers say the incident occurred around 2:47 a.m. on Interstate 10 near mile marker 14 when the gray SUV he was driving eastbound left the roadway and collided with a sound-attenuating wall.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by Escambia County EMS.

The Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the crash.

No further details have been released.
