21-year-old Orlando man killed in motorcycle crash on Fort Christmas Road

A 21-year-old Orlando man was killed Thursday in a single-vehicle crash in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The fatal wreck happened around 12:20 p.m. on Fort Christmas Road at Wheeler Road in Christmas.

The FHP said the man was riding a 2020 Yamaha MTN1000 north on Fort Christmas Road and failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the roadway.

The man was thrown from his bike and struck a guardrail, according to troopers.

The man was taken to AdventHealth Waterford Lakes ER, where he was pronounced dead, the FHP said.
