23-year-old struck twice on I-4 after crash: Florida Highway Patrol

A man died after being struck by two cars on Interstate 4 on Monday.

The incident happened on the I-4 exit ramp to U.S. Highway 192 near mile marker 64.

A Kia Forte was heading west when the driver lost control, veered off the road and struck a tree before overturning, according to a report from NBC affiliate WESH.

The driver went to a nearby hotel for help. The passenger ran across the eastbound lanes of I-4.

The passenger was struck by two vehicles in the westbound lanes. The 23-year-old died from his injuries.
