A 24-year-old man was shot and killed late Sunday evening, according to the Ocala Police Department.
Police said they responded to the 2800 block of NE 8th Terrace around 11:25 p.m.
According to a news release, police located Derrick Brown Jr. who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
