24-year-old Pensacola man killed in motorcycle crash on Creighton Road

A 24-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash Thursday morning in Pensacola.

It happened around 1:20 a.m. on Creighton Road near Lebanon Lane.

According to Florida Highway Patrol’s preliminary investigation, the motorcyclist — a 24-year-old Pensacola man — was traveling north on Creighton Road while a sedan driven by a 23-year-old Pensacola man was traveling south.

FHP states the sedan made a left turn into the path of the oncoming motorcycle, which struck the passenger side of the sedan.

The motorcyclist was declared dead on scene. The driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries.

FHP Traffic Homicide continues to investigate the crash.
