24-year-old woman dies after car crashes into tree in Palm Beach County

A 24-year-old woman is dead after she crashed her car into a tree, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO).

According to PBSO, Jacqueline Funes, was driving her 2024 Honda Accord on Pratt Whitney Road when all of a sudden her car veered sharply to the left.

PBSO says the car crossed into the northbound lanes and into a forest area where she crashed into a tree.

Funes was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Deputies say next of kin has been notified.
