27-year-old driver killed in crash on Old Kings Road in Flagler County

The Florida Highway Patrol said the man was driving a pickup truck in the area when he veered off the road and crashed into a tree.

A 27-year-old Palm Coast man is dead after a crash on Old Kings Road south of Town Center Boulevard in Flagler County Sunday afternoon. 

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a pickup truck at approximately 1 p.m. Sunday on Old Kings Road just south of Town Center Boulevard when the truck veered off the road and crashed into a tree.

FHP said the man was pronounced dead at the scene by members of the Palm Coast Fire Department.

The crash report said it is unknown if the driver was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

It is unclear if the crash resulted from the inclement weather moving through the area or whether an investigation is ongoing into the crash.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
