The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed one person died following a two-vehicle crash Sunday at 5:20 p.m.
A 27-year-old Ruskin woman was traveling southbound on US-41 at Universal Drive in Ruskin. When she attempted a left turn, a 53-year-old Oregon woman struck her car.
The Oregon woman died at the scene of the crash.
The Ruskin woman was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
