29-year-old dies five days after Boynton Beach car crash

A 29-year-old man died five days after a car crash in Boynton Beach.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) crash report stated the crash occurred on October 8,at the intersection of State Road 7 and Boynton Beach Boulevard when a Chevy and a Honda CRV driven by the 29-year-old collided.

PBSO reported that a Chevy was traveling south in the right lane on State Road 7, approaching a red light. The traffic light turned green, and at the same time, a Honda CRV heading north attempted to make a westbound turn onto Boynton Beach Boulevard.

As the Honda entered the intersection, the front of the Chevy struck it on the right side, the report states.

Officials stated that the impact of the crash resulted in the Honda flipping upside down.

Authorities stated that the Honda driver succumbed to his injuries on Sunday morning.
