A 29-year-old motorcyclist from West Palm Beach died after a crash with a truck in Jupiter on Monday.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) crash report stated that the man was riding his motorcycle eastbound, approaching a plaza driveway at 9250 West Indiantown Road.
According to officials, as the motorcyclist approached, a Ram truck was exiting the plaza and turning left onto the westbound lane.
The report states that the truck began its turn and crossed into the outside eastbound lane, almost clearing the inside lane when the motorcyclist steered left and crossed onto the median.
The motorcycle collided with the driver’s side rear of the Ram. PBSO reported that the motorcycle became entangled with the Ram during the collision, and the rider was ejected from his bike.
Emergency services transported the 29-year-old motorcyclist to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
