3 hurt after driver crashes SUV through fence in Pembroke Pines

Pembroke Pines police are investigating after a driver crashed an SUV through a fence Tuesday afternoon.

It happened at around 2 p.m. in the area of Northwest 84th Avenue and Eighth Street.

It also showed the GMC Acadia having crashed through two sections of fence.

Officials with Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue said a woman and a 14-year-old were taken to the hospital as trauma alert patients; a third person was treated for a minor ankle injury.

Police said roadways in the area would remain blocked while officers investigated.
