3 hurt in fire at Kissimmee CVS store

Crews in Kissimmee is battling a fire at a CVS store on Thursday as crews arrived to battle a fire there.

Thick black smoke was seen coming from the CVS pharmacy in the area of Pleasant Hill Road and John Young Parkway.

A News 6 staff member saw the fire and reported it to us. A spokesperson for the Kissimmee Fire Department says they are close to knocking the fire down, and the state fire marshal is on site to determine the cause. They could be there for some time.

Three people received medical attention — one person was taken to an area hospital, and two were treated at the site.

People should avoid the area if possible.
