Three men, who the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said appeared to be bystanders outside a Northside convenience store, were shot on Monday night.
JSO said just after 8 p.m., it received calls about a shooting.
The investigation revealed that two different groups of women got into a fight at a nearby convenience store on Avenue B after an argument escalated.
At some point, one group of women left the area but returned shortly and started shooting into the crowd of people.
JSO is looking for three possible suspects.
It doesn’t appear that the men were the target. All three men suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to JSO.
One man was taken to the hospital, while the other two were taken in another vehicle.
JSO believed this was an isolated incident.
