3 seriously injured in head-on collision in Okaloosa County

Three people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a head-on collision in Okaloosa County on Friday.

The crash happened on State Road 189 and Joe Jordon Road at around 8:40 p.m.

Florida Highway Patrol says a vehicle, occupying a 58-year-old Crestview man, was traveling northbound on State Road 189.

Troopers say the man crossed the center line into the southbound lane and struck another vehicle, occupying a 45-year-old woman and 12-year-old girl from Auburn, head-on.

Two people were taken to the hospital by helicopter and the other was taken by ambulance.

There is no other information at the time.
