30-year-old motorcyclist killed in crash on North W Street in Escambia County

A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a vehicle crash in Escambia County on Wednesday evening.

According to the county, the crash occurred at North W Street and Beverly Parkway at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Florida Highway Patrol says the victim, from Mobile, was riding his Harley motorcycle on North W heading towards Pine Forest Road.

He somehow lost control of his bike. This caused him to fall in the roadway, leading to fatal injuries, according to FHP.

The county says no one was transported from the scene.
