A 33-year-old man died in a crash involving a propane truck at the intersection of US 1 and Las Calinas Boulevard Sunday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Officials said the man, who was driving an SUV, was traveling south on US 1 and a propane truck was traveling south too.
The propane truck was slowing as it approached the intersection of Las Calinas Boulevard in the right travel lane ahead of the SUV.
Officials said the SUV driver failed to observe traffic slowing ahead and crashed into the rear of the propane truck.
Officials said the man died at the scene.
Officials said there was a propane leak that was contained.
