36-year-old man dies after missing curve, hitting tree in Columbia County crash: Florida Highway Patrol.

A 36-year-old man died early Sunday morning in Columbia County after his car missed a curve and hit a tree, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported around 4:10 a.m. Sunday, near the intersection of NE Range Road and NE Williams Street.

Troopers said the man’s car was headed north on NE Range Road when he missed a curve to the right, ran off the road to the left and hit a tree.

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died from his injuries, FHP said.

No other cars were involved, the report said.
