 A 36-year-old Whistler woman is dead after a crash in Escambia County on Friday morning.

Troopers say the incident occurred on Interstate 10 near the 6.5 mile marker, where she ran off the roadway in a sedan and collided with the tree line.

Emergency medical services transported her from the scene, but she was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
