4 arrested after shots fired mid-fight in SoHo, Tampa police say.

A fight that broke out in SoHo overnight led to four arrests after several shots were fired, according to the Tampa Police Department.

Around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, police on specialty patrol in the SoHo area responded to the fight after hearing nearby gunfire.

Officials said a fight began among several adults in a parking lot at the corner of South Howard Avenue and DeLeon Street.

One of the four people arrested, identified as Kelvin Terry, 29, told officers he was punched and that his friend was hit by a couple of people. Terry admitted to firing shots, which only hit a nearby building several times.

Two others involved in the incident, identified as Tomia Gray, 22, and Derrick Hunter, 21, were arrested and are facing a battery charge. A third suspect, 22-year-old Santrice West is also facing a battery charge, along with a charge of introducing contraband into a detention facility.

Police said no one was injured.
