Four people were injured Wednesday morning when an ambulance and pickup truck collided in Orange County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened around 6 a.m. on Orange Blossom Trail at State Road 414 near Apopka.

The FHP said the Apopka Fire Department ambulance was heading south on OBT with its emergency lights and sirens activated and traveled into the intersection at S.R. 414.

A 2015 Ford F-250 was traveling west on the S.R. 414 exit ramp to OBT and entered the intersection on a green traffic light, according to troopers, who said the front of the ambulance struck the right side of the pickup, which overturned and struck a 2024 Toyota RAV4.

Four victims were taken to hospitals, but their conditions have not been released.

The driver of the RAV4, a 57-year-old Apopka woman, was not injured and remained at the scene.

The eastbound lanes of Apopka Boulevard are closed in the area.

The crash remains under investigation.
