A Friday night altercation in Rosemary Beach resulted in the arrest of four individuals from Atlanta, Georgia, including three juveniles and an 18-year-old, according to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a call on Beach Bike Way regarding a large fight outside a residence. Upon arrival, several foot chases ensued, leading to the quick detention of the suspects.
The incident began when two intoxicated juveniles approached the porch of the victims’ home, offering to sell alcohol. When the victims refused and attempted to escort the juveniles off the property, one of the juveniles began punching a victim in the face.
Family members inside the home attempted to defuse the situation, but two more individuals, friends of the juveniles, joined the altercation and began hitting the victim.
The fight resulted in injuries to multiple victims in their 60s, including bruising and a chipped tooth. One adult, who chose not to press charges, sustained a broken arm.
All four suspects were arrested and charged with battery.
