A 43-year-old Pensacola man has died following last week’s crash at an Escambia County intersection.

WEAR News previously reported that five people were hospitalized following a collision last Monday night at the intersection of Chemstrand Road and Crooked Oak Drive.

A pickup truck and a car collided, with the car ending up in a ravine on the side of the road. Several people were extricated from both vehicles by first responders.

Florida Highway Patrol tells WEAR News on Monday that the driver of the car that ended up in the ravine — a 43-year-old Pensacola man — died from his injuries at the hospital Saturday night.

No further details have been released on the other people involved.
