A 46-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday night in an Orange County neighborhood, sheriff’s officials said.
The fatal shooting was reported around 9:55 p.m. on 24th Street near Woods Street.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were called to the 1000 block of 24th Street and found George Samuels III suffering from a gunshot wound.
Samuels was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead, deputies said.
