A 54-year-old Freeport man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Walton County on Wednesday, according to FHP.
Troopers say they responded to a call around 10:15 a.m. on State Road 83, 1 mile north of State Road 2, involving a pickup truck and one person.
THI is on-scene conducting a comprehensive investigation of the incident, according to FHP.
The exact cause of this crash remains under investigation.
The crash scene in its entirety was contained on the western shoulder along State Road 83.
