A 54-year-old Milton woman is dead after her car veered off the road and collided with a power pole in Santa Rosa County on Monday afternoon.
Troopers say the incident occurred at 1 p.m. on Highway 4 near Three Notch Trail when the sedan she was driving veered off the roadway for unknown reasons.
The vehicle overturned and collided with a power utility pole, according to FHP.
The driver was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
No further details have been released.
