A 55-year-old man died Friday night after being struck by a vehicle in Miami, authorities said.
The crash happened after 8:30 p.m. near Southwest 3rd Avenue and 24th Road, according to police. Responding units found the man suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Miami Fire Rescue transported the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
