6-year-old hospitalized after falling out of golf cart in North Naples

A 6-year-old was taken to the hospital after they fell out of a golf cart, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office said on Sunday.

According to CCSO, deputies received the call at 5:36 p.m. that a child had fallen out of a golf cart on Talis Park Drive.

Deputies say that it was a trauma alert and that the child was transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

A golf cart accident can happen suddenly and lead to serious injuries, especially when carts are operated on public roads, private communities, golf courses, or resorts. Although golf carts may seem harmless, they lack safety features such as seatbelts and airbags, making occupants vulnerable during a collision or rollover. At Ovadia Law Group, we help individuals and families understand their legal options after a golf cart accident caused by negligence. These accidents may involve distracted drivers, defective carts, poorly maintained roads, or inexperienced operators. A skilled golf cart accident lawyer will investigate the cause, determine liability, and pursue compensation for medical bills, lost income, and pain and suffering. Ovadia Law Group is committed to protecting the rights of accident victims and holding negligent parties accountable.
