60-year-old Pensacola man dies after pickup truck crashes into fence in Escambia County

A 60-year-old Pensacola man died after his pickup truck crashed into a fence in Escambia County on Saturday morning.

Troopers say the incident occurred at 9:08 a.m. at 932 Hope Drive when the driver was traveling eastbound and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the left shoulder of the roadway and collide with the fence.

He was transported to Baptist Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased, according to FHP.

No further details have been released.
