62-year-old motorcyclist killed in crash on Haines Street near Arlington Expressway

A 62-year-old Yulee man was killed Monday night in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Haines Street near the Arlington Expressway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP said the motorcycle was traveling westbound while exiting the Arlington Expressway when it left the roadway and collided with a small grove of trees. The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected and came to rest in the woodline.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
