68-year-old Milton motorcyclist killed in crash with pickup truck on Hwy 90

 A 68-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Milton Thursday morning.

It happened around 9:45 a.m. on Highway 90 near Anna Simpson Road.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a pickup truck driven by a 71-year-old Milton man was stopped in traffic in the left turn lane on Highway 90 at the intersection of Anna Simpson Rd.

The 68-year-old Milton man was traveling in the opposite direction on his motorcycle in the inside lane of Highway 90 approaching Anna Simpson Rd.

FHP says as the pickup truck began traveling north across Highway 90 to Anna Simpson Rd, the front of the motorcycle collided with the right rear side panel of the truck.

The 68-year-old motorcyclist was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The 71-year-old man wasn’t injured.

Roads were blocked in the area for multiple hours as crews worked the scene.
