A child is recovering in a South Florida hospital after being bitten by a dog several times on Wednesday.
Police said the incident happened at a home near Northwest 56th Avenue in Lakeview Circle South in Margate, according to NBC affiliate WTVJ.
The 7-year-old was airlifted to Broward General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials did not provide any additional details about the incident.
