71-year-old motorcyclist killed in multi-vehicle collision in Bay County

BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – A 71-year-old man from Wedoee Alabama has died following a motorcycle collision on State Road 79 and 388 in Bay County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

It happened on Highway 79 North around 1:00 p.m. Friday afternoon. The Florida Highway Patrol says two motorcycles were at a stop in the inside lane of 79 and State Road 388.

A third motorcycle, driven by the 71-year-old Alabama man was traveling north and failed to stop and collided with the two bikes, FHP said in a news release.

The Alabama man died from his injuries at the hospital.
