A 72-year-old Largo man died Wednesday evening after he was hit by a car along Ulmerton Road in Pinellas County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man, who has not been publicly identified, was crossing Ulmerton Road near 34th Street North when he was hit by an SUV driven by a 60-year-old Tampa woman, troopers said.
The man was taken to a hospital with serious injuries and he later died, FHP said.
No other details were immediately available.
