75-Year-Old Woman Struck And Killed On Her Bicycle On Bryan Lane In East Lake

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A 75-year-old woman was killed in a crash that happened in East Lake on Tuesday at around 6:30 pm.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Jaguar SUV, driven by a 63-year-old Palm Harbor man, was traveling westbound on Bryan Lane. 

West of Cypress Lakes Boulevard, a 75-year-old female bicyclist was riding westbound on Bryan Lane ahead of the SUV. 

According to troopers, as the Jaguar approached, the bicyclist abruptly turned left into the path of the passing vehicle. 

As a result, the SUV struck the bicyclist, who suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
