80-year-old man struck, killed while walking on Orange County road, troopers say

An 80-year-old is dead after an Orange County crash Saturday night, said the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to an FHP report, the driver of a GMC Yukon was leaving a driveway onto Hawaiian Court when they hit the 80-year-old, who was walking in the road. The man went to the hospital, where he died, and the driver stayed on scene.

The driver was not injured.

The crash is under investigation.
