An Ocala man is dead after vehicle crash early Friday morning.
According to Florida Highway Patrol troopers, an 82-year-old man was traveling northbound on Southwest 87th Avenue approaching Southwest 90th Place just before 6 a.m.
Troopers believed the 82-year-old suffered a medical emergency and was unable to maintain control of the vehicle and drove off the roadway and hit a boulder.
The man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
