A person was killed after they were struck by a train on Monday.
According to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR) at about 2:50 p.m., units were sent to an area near 12th Ave South. When crews arrived they found one person who had been struck by a train.
The person was declared dead by PBCFR paramedics. PBCFR believes the person was hit by a Tri-Rail train.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
