A high-speed chase in Ocala ended with a crash at an apartment complex, according to police.
The Ocala Police Department on Thursday shared video from the chase, which occurred on Saturday, May 10, after officers responded to a Wendy’s on East Silver Springs Boulevard.
A man, identified by police as 25-year-old VB, pulled a rifle out at the scene before fleeing in a white car, according to police.
At one point, B was speeding in the wrong direction before hitting another vehicle, police said.
Police dash-cam video shows the moment he crashed through a wooden fence at an apartment complex, causing the car to flip and land on its roof.
Police then chased him through the complex as he held the rifle, officials said.
Officers eventually arrested him.
B faces multiple charges, including aggravated assault, aggravated fleeing and eluding and tampering with evidence.
