Person shot near Lynx Central Station, police say

A person was injured and transported to a nearby hospital following a shooting on Tuesday afternoon at the Lynx Central Station, the Orlando Police Department said.

Orlando police officers responded to 455 North Garland Avenue around 3:34 p.m. in reference to shots fired.

A suspect has been detained, OPD said, and there is no threat to the public.

OPD says the victim is in stable condition.
